I love the size of the Ledger pad, I use it for my daily journal, paper quality is exquisite [I hate flimsy it is certainly not] and love the cover color selections...I am artistic and color is as important as the paper quality itself. Thanks for excellent products. Mary Anne

FITS IN YOUR SHIRT POCKET, NO INTERNET, PRIVACY
The Write Notepads Pocket Ledger is a very suitable companion for me as I ride the metropolitan bus to and fro errands during the day. Use it to stay attentive to what is happening on the bus trip, other bus riders and what is happening outside the bus windows. Doing this I am shamelessly copying the main approach of the author Laura Elkin in her book "No. 91/92: A Diary of a Year on the Bus" published by semiotext(e)".
The narrow width of the Pocket Ledger allows it to fit easily inside the shirt breast pocket of my winter flannel shirt. It is easy to pull out and flip to available white space to save my quirky observation of the moment. For example, on one day rainy morning along with other student and hospital daily workers my eyes had locked onto the facts whether riders were bare headed, had lots of hair to keep them warm, wore baseball caps, parka hoods or knit caps.
The other main advantage of the Write Pocket Ledger is that my original observations were not immediately being loaded up onto the Internet. The result being only I could share the memories of this morning with friends and family.
The last main advantage of the Pocket Ledger for notes as I move about, and ride the bus, is that the notes is remarkably original containing a range of decipherable or non-decipherable scribbled jagged notes.
Very human scale, the pocket ledger is!

I love the size and and the quality of paper in the 'pocket ledger'. The range of colors for the cover, quite nice, since I am artistic in nature. Again, I will note that customer service was excellent to deal with for a needed exchange. Thanks! Mary Anne

The pocket ledger is probably my favorite product from Write (at least currently!). It's the perfect size to toss in my bag for EDC purposes, and I love that it's designed specifically for list-making. The rubber band closure is an added bonus too.

I picked one up in Pistachio for my wife and one in Blue for me and a Red one that has become the prize for whoever finishes their book first. I love the paper in it; it takes pencil or pen very well and is very smooth. The covers are holding up great to my daily use as well.

Perfect for the pocket, love the paper weight

I love these notebooks. No one else seems to make a reporter style book in these dimensions. The ledger ruled pages are handy to have, as well. The rubber band closure is the best feature ever. Thanks for making such a quality product.

Perfect size for a pocket, purse or satchel. I love the elastic band to keep it closed.

Awesome, portable notebook that is practical for everything from grocery lists to tasks to everyday notes!

I am so hooked on all the Write products I've purchased and the Steno pad is my favorite size of writing pad I use! I was so thrilled to have this become available, and I am using it to take notes in my voice studio. The paper, the heft of the boards, the high quality spiral. This is a winner!

Great idea for pocket notebook. Reminds me of the old salesmen pocket expense notebooks that used to be sold in stationary and book stores. I like for use on road trips for documenting mileage, fuel costs, tolls and stops to remember, whether for repeating or "never do that again." Perfect size for dash/visor/console, and pockets.

Glad there is a printer still doing quality work! Can't find anything as useful at Staples, et al.

I have to admit - I bought this because it was cute - I wasn't sure how I was going to use it. It has now become my go-to for lists of every kind: grocery, to-do, packing lists, and more. The paper has the same great weight and feel of the larger notebooks. It's small enough to stash in my purse or carry it with my phone.

I love this pocket-sized notepad. It takes the place of staring at my phone when I need to remember something, make a list, or just write down my thoughts. Great product!

Just the right size to keep reference notes for language lessons. Easier than pulling out my phone and looking up the correct app when I am in line and want to review lessons.

My new favorite EDC notebook, I didn't think it would be possible to beat out their reporter's notebook but this one has slightly edged it out because of size & layout. I'd love to see a A5 or an larger notebook use this format.
Same great quality paper that all of their products I have used has. It is my new favorite paper company very few even come close to the quality I have experienced with this great company.

There’s a reason there are so many reviews for this little notebook. It’s a gem!
Sturdy cover, great size, paper that will take what you throw at it with the writing tool of your choice. It’s a wonderful, high quality ledger at a great price.

A great little note pad. Fantastic for writing to do lists and taking it on the run. Stands up well to fountain pen use. I have yet to have any bleed through. Will buy again!

I have specific needs for a field notebook. This notebook is perfect! Sturdy cover, the paper is great for pen and pencil—no see through traces, the lines and balance sheet look make it easy to list anything readily. Would recommend with no doubt!!! Happy happy

The pocket ledger is a dream come true and it’s the same size as my cell phone. As a boomer, I still enjoy write my lists rather than putting them in digital notes —this make
It so easy for quick non-digital reference and access to a small pad. Paper is great texture and a neat little book. And of course, the black one is what’s up!! The band keeps the booklet closed and prevents paper from being frayed. Love it!!
♥️♥️♥️

Just another great notebook/tool from Write Notepads!

Wonderful size, design, and color! The various ledger boxes are pretty useful for notating / marking / tagging various items in different ways. And more generally: wonderful paper! It's especially versatile for all types of pens. It has a good enough "grip" for ballpoint pens, and it's thick enough that writing with a ballpoint (at least a good one) doesn't cause the paper to leave an indentation noticeable on the reverse side.

Good sturdy notebook with good paper takes pen excellent

These are the best notebooks I’ve ever used. Perfect size, quality paper, stands up to constant shuffling, elegant design. I’m always happy when two new ones arrive by mail.

The size is perfect and the quality of the paper [internal pages and front/back], par excellence. The bank to keep place marked the nice added touch

Sparks joy for my to-do lists
We were talking about Marie Kondo today at home, so that's why the phrase "sparks joy" is in my head. But it's super appropriate for how I feel about the Pocket Ledger. Years ago I got one for free as a promo, and for most of last year it hung out in my pocket next to my iPhone. I've had plenty of notepads in my day (former newspaper photographer) and few of them endure the abusive landscape of a back pocket. I'm not even gonna talk about what butt-sweat does to lesser notepads. The only reason I retired my last Pocket Ledger is because I filled it up. -- this from a guy who has way too many barely used moleskins and other "nice" notebooks. Bottom line, I kept using it because I just really liked it! And in retrospect, I like it so much because it help up! #buttsweatproof
