"Zhū" Chinese New Year Pocket NotebookWrite Notepads & Co.
Chinese Lunar New Year is by far the largest and most prominent festival, holiday, in the world. It is so large it causes the most extensive annual mass human migration in the world. It makes the Western Winter holiday season look small. New Year is a time to be together. Wherever they are, people are expected to be home to celebrate the festival with their families. Also called the Spring Festival, this year the lunar new year starts on February 5th, initiating the Year of the Pig.
This year we wanted to do something new and different from what we have done before. The Zhū (猪) pocket notebook comes with the reddest red cover we could find. On the front cover, is a gold foil Pig in a traditional Chinese paper cutout style. The inside pages are a dot-grid format on a heavy smooth 70# paper. This paper is excellent for either your pencils or pens. These notebooks make us proud since they are our first notebook pressed with gold-foil on our machines.
