Our Paper Journal edition pays tribute to the iconic folk artist Woody Guthrie. Guthrie's music heavily influenced by the 1940s social and political inequality and the burgeoning Civil Rights movement, and he used his music and influence to challenge the ideas of the time. His two favorite guitars were famously emblazoned with the phrase "This Machine Kills Fascists," a bold statement showcasing the pure power of words. We've replicated the expression with the same sentiment in mind: ideas are potent tools in the fight against injustice. What will you write?

Bought this for my dad, he loved the design and always needs more notebooks. The paper quality is great as always.

I’m particular about paper and the paper here is a treat. Perfect for fountain pen with little feathering no bleed and just enough tooth to feel great writing.
Marc Kevin H.
As usual, the quality and craftsmanship of this notebook are impeccable, from the paper quality to the binding. However, in these troubled times, the message on the cover is perfect!

When setting out on a seven and a half year long course of personal study I knew I needed the right tools to jot down little notes for myself and make it all the more meaningful. I’m so glad I chose to go with this notebook. The size is perfect to carry with me, but also large enough to have space to write. The paper, like all Write Notepads, is exactly what I was looking for, and the subtle printing of the dot grid gives me the guides I need to keep my writing orderly without overwhelming my field of vision when I glance at the page.
Also, the message on the cover, from the late great Woody Guthrie, is an ever present reminder that studying and sharing information and education is a great way to combat injustice in the world.

Love the notebook, as well as the pencil and ledger book. How could I not love being reminded of Woody Guthrie every time I open it?
